PSMI and BMC extend the active medication inferencing project to now include inferencing of active patient allergies. The goal is to help physician identify a more complete patient allergy list pooled from multiple sources (EMR, PHS, pharmacy and PHR sources).

PSMI and BMC with development partner Demagi began work on a grant funded project designed to improve physician efficiency and accuracy in medication reconciliation. A new service designed to infer candidate active medication records is the basis for this innovation. It will begin testing in the June/July timeframe.
